Friday Bites – 22/03/2013

Happy Friday!

We’ve been a bit slow as of late with content, but there is a reason for this. Being the model students we are (of course), we have been busy working away on our assignments and exams. But no fear, normal service will be resumed next week! On to this weeks links…

What’s it like to die?  Here is a terrific and inspirational account of one person’s near death experience.

An interesting new study has explored the effects of alcohol on neural responses in the first year of University.

As always, there are new insights into Autism, which suggests it may have a hereditary link.

A nice little BBC story expoloring the phenomenon of culture shock syndrome.

Will neuroscience have it’s own Manhattan Project?

And finally, a nice little explanation of the interesting bouba-kiki effect.

Enjoy your weekend!
